Turtle Survival Alliance works with over 100 tortoise and freshwater turtle species in peril\, and they need the same spotlight that their marine counterparts receive. \nTortoises\, freshwater turtles\, and sea turtles all face challenges such as habitat loss\, pollution\, poaching\, and climate change. However\, sea turtles dominate discussions in conservation forums and draw much attention from the general public. The inclusion of terrestrial and freshwater turtles in conservation discussions for sea turtles is a significant step in widening the perspective of turtle diversity. We look forward to bringing forward the challenges faced by tortoises and freshwater turtles to the International Sea Turtle Society symposium to broaden the perspective of devoted chelonian conservationists\, inspire innovative approaches\, and bridge the gap on shared challenges and solutions. \nJoin us in championing a united front for all turtles to ensure a thriving future for the hundreds of turtle species that share our planet. \nRegister here!
